Whether you want attendees to learn, be inspired, laugh, cry, or look at the world with a different lens, my talks pack a punch. I am an optimist, no-barrels hold speaker who loves to share the real behind the scenes of my life and my trip around the world.
Talk to me about your requirements.
My world trip on a bike came from a deep desire for change in my life. I didn’t have experience of adventures like these, so just getting to the first mile meant overcoming a number of challenges for me.
As a curious, inquisitive and always optimistic person, I hope to inspire others to live their dreams, whatever they may be, despite the obstacles that may stand in their way.
I can share tales of my journey packed with inspiring photography and personal anecdotes to local bookstores, libraries, camera clubs, associations and retirement groups for after dinner speaking events.
I love connecting with small intimate audiences, hosting Q&A sessions and sharing my personal experiences with honest and vulnerability.
Drawing on my personal experience cycling around the world and my professional expertise supporting impact led entrepreneurs and my own start up experience, I can offer unique presentations that cover business innovation, goal setting, collaboration, risk management, and project delivery.
I am an MBA qualified, former nonprofit CEO who regularly facilitates and leads programmes and courses for leading organisations in Scotland and the UK. Connect with me on Linkedin to see more.
I have organised, facilitated and spoke at a wide range of online events over the last four years including online bootcamps, webinars, courses, and more. I am a confident online speaker adept at connecting with audiences and keeping things interactive.
If you’re a small book or cycle clubs across the UK, Europe or beyond, this is a great option to allow me to take part in an initiative with you to “Meet the Author” and benefit from a book purchase offer.
Please note that being based in Southwest Scotland, how far I travel for events might incur some expenses but I am always happy to discuss an event opportunity and where I suggest a compensation fee, I always aim to align these with standard speaker fees the organisation can afford.
“Naomi spoke in KBT Book Week to a sold-out event at the Dark Art Distillery in The Johnston Building.
It was a presentation filled with images of her worldwide cycling travels, stories, personalities, reflections and humour.
There were many questions and a lively discussion and feedback from the event was enormously positive.”
Gerry Hassan, Kirkcudbright Book Week.
