Edinburgh Festival of Cycling June 6th 2019

On Thursday 6th June I will be speaking as part of the Edinburgh Festival of Cycling. Here are the details of my talk from the festival programme….it would be great to see lots of friendly faces and meet new folk too….

The world at 15mph(ish!)
In 2012 Naomi (a self-confessed non-athlete) set out on the cycle tour of a lifetime with a man she’d met just three times before.

Fuelled by stubbornness, determination and cake, the trip eventually totalled 32,000 km including Alpe d’huez,Cairo to Capetown, South East Asia, India and Nepal.

If you’re not sure you’re fit enough and need inspiration, simply want to hear more brutally honest tales of adventure or want to know what it’s like to take a touring bike with panniers over Thorong la pass in Nepal at 5416 m then do come along.

Tickets: Adult £11, Concession £9 Or Double bill with Jenny Tough – pushing boundaries Adult £18, Concession £16
